As a holistic health practioner I provide a complete service as a personal trainer, nutrition coach, manual therapist and lifestyle coach. I work with clients in Ealing W13 and online.

What is holistic health?

The philosophy of holistic health is the held belief that something does not work in an isolated way, but rather as a part of a whole, and as such can only be properly explained in this way. This also applies to holistic health or holistic medicine. Even with the knowledge that we possess today, we are still plagued with the idea of treating specific problems in an isolated way. This can be called a 'this for that' approach.

What has and is becoming clearer is that this really doesn't work that well.  We get knee pain so we treat the knee. We get a headache so we take an aspirin. We become overweight so we diet. This approach is very narrow minded and works in only a small number of cases. The human system is not only complicated but unique from person to person. No two people are exactly alike and shouldn't be treated as such. Whether that is exercise, diet, or manual therapy, different people respond differently to the same stimulus or protocol.


With a holistic approach to health a fitness a more overall view is taken. A great example is people who seek to lose weight. The standard industry view is that if you are overweight it's because you eat too much and move too little. If it were that simple we would not be looking at a growing obesity crisis. Food quality, incorrect primal pattern eating, stress, and hormone imbalance are all huge factors in weight loss, so simply eating less and killing yourself on the treadmill isn't usually the best solution.

Through the various disciplines of personal training, nutrition and lifestyle coaching, and remedial therapy, I take a holistic view of all my clients and help them achieve their goals by looking at the big picture. I know from experience this is the best way to achieve lasting quality change.

I use and apply my knowledge and experience of personal training, nutrition, lifestyle factors, and remedial manual therapy, to offer my clients a truly holistic approach to their health and fitness.  By working together we can determine what sort of sessions are going to be the most valuable and effective for you.  If you are looking for something specific, for example a personal trainer, then we can kick straight on with that providing assessment gives us the all clear.  By utilising effective assessments we can tackle those issues which present the biggest barriers to achieving optimal health and fitness, and achieve your goals as a part of that.  I very much look forward to hearing from you.
